Residential Detached House

Tinos, on a lush green plot of land of 4,000 square meters, just 2 km from the port, a detached residence of 168 square meters with a basement. It was designed in 2007, with a separate study by a notable architectural firm. It was built (2009) to serve modern needs and at the same time be integrated into the natural environment of the island. The ground floor was chosen exclusively with stone cladding and the planting of several trees, which coexist with the building. Modern, wooden, energy-efficient German-style windows and doors were placed, with large openings, and underfloor heating was installed. During warmer months, the floor is cooled and at the same time a central network with integrated fan coils operates on the roof. It consists of a living room, with a separate kitchen, three bathrooms and three bedrooms, one of which with its own bathroom. In the basement, two large spaces of 75 square meters have been created to be used as a garage-storage room and a fully equipped boiler room. The house has a central alarm system, with magnetic contacts on all openings, a gasoline generator in case of power outage and a pressure tank for uninterrupted water supply. Also, an independent sewage tank, connected to the municipal network and a permit for drilling. Outside, several spaces have been created, covered or not, so that the enjoyment of the unobstructed view and the natural environment is not affected by weather conditions. A well-kept garden with several, productive olive trees, other fruit trees and ornamentals offers the beneficial embrace of nature. The view is impressive towards at least four islands of the Cyclades and the clear blue waters of the Aegean. A remarkable, well-designed detached residence, in a countryside setting, in need of maintenance and repairs, with wonderful views, at a short distance from the town and several sandy beaches.
