Residential Son Serra De Marina Spain

Son Serra de Marina is a small, low-density coastal settlement on the northeastern edge of the municipality of Santa Margalida, facing the protected waters of the Bay of Alcúdia. The urbanization is defined by its deliberate restraint: single-storey and low-rise residential properties spread across flat terrain behind a long, largely undeveloped beach. The absence of high-rise development and the proximity to the Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant give the area a character that is markedly quieter and less commercialised than the broader Mallorcan coast.

The beach at Son Serra de Marina is accessible on foot and remains uncrowded for most of the year. Can Picafort, roughly eight kilometres south, provides supermarkets, restaurants, and everyday services. Colònia de Sant Pere, a few kilometres north, offers a small harbour, a handful of cafés, and direct access to hiking trails into the Llevant natural park.

Santa Margalida town is approximately 12 kilometres inland by car, around 15 minutes. Palma de Mallorca is roughly 65 kilometres southwest, a drive of approximately 50 to 60 minutes via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct routes to most major European cities, with journey times from the property to the terminal typically under one hour. There is no rail connection to this part of the island; private transport or car hire is essential.
