Sevilla Villa

Distrito Sur sits on the southern edge of Seville’s historic core, a district that has undergone significant transformation while retaining its working-class Sevillano identity. The area borders the Bellavista and Los Bermejales neighborhoods, with the latter defined by its planned residential grid and the large artificial lake, Lago de los Bermejales, that anchors the district’s public life. It is a quieter, more residential counterpart to the tourist-heavy centro, with a distinctly local character.

Daily life here centers on the Parque de los Príncipes and the lakeside promenade at Bermejales. The CC Los Arcos shopping center is within easy reach, and the Mercado de Torreblanca serves the area’s food shopping. The district connects directly to the Nervión commercial corridor and the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán by bicycle or bus.

Distrito Sur is served by several EMT bus lines connecting to Santa Justa, Seville’s main high-speed rail station, in under 20 minutes. From Santa Justa, AVE services reach Madrid in approximately two and a half hours and Málaga in under two hours. Seville Airport, located roughly 10 kilometers northeast of the district, handles direct routes to major European hubs and is reachable in around 20 minutes by car.
