Residential Sencelles Spain

Sencelles is a small, unhurried municipality in the agricultural heartland of Mallorca, sitting roughly equidistant between Palma and Inca in the island’s central plain known as Es Pla. The landscape here is defined by ancient olive groves, dry-stone walls, and working farmland, a world apart from the coastal resort belt. The village retains a genuinely Mallorcan character, with a medieval parish church, traditional stone architecture, and a pace of life that has changed little over generations.

The weekly market in Inca, one of Mallorca’s largest, is a 15-minute drive. Palma’s dining scene, including restaurants such as Marc Fosh and Aromata, is under 30 minutes away. The nearby town of Binissalem, Mallorca’s wine country hub, offers local bodegas and restaurants within 10 minutes.

Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 25 kilometres from Sencelles, reachable in around 25 to 30 minutes by car. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities, with flight times of roughly two hours to London, Paris, and Frankfurt. The town of Inca, with its rail connection to Palma via the Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca line, is 15 minutes by car, offering an alternative route into the capital.
