Sant Jordi de ses Salines sits in the southern interior of Ibiza, within the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, and occupies a position that balances genuine local character with proximity to the island’s most desirable coastline. The area is known for its traditional Ibizan architecture, flat agricultural land, and a pace of life that remains largely residential rather than tourist-facing. It is one of the few parts of the island where an authentic village identity has been preserved alongside growing demand from international buyers.

The weekly market at Sant Jordi is one of the island’s best-known flea and craft markets, held on Saturdays. Playa d’en Bossa is roughly five minutes by car, and Ibiza Town is under ten minutes. Local supermarkets, a sports centre, and schools serving the southern zone are all within the immediate area.

Ibiza Airport is approximately four kilometres from Sant Jordi, making this one of the closest residential areas to the terminal on the island, with a drive of under ten minutes. Ibiza Town, with its ferry connections to mainland Spain and the other Balearic Islands, is reachable in around eight minutes by car. Regular ferry services connect Ibiza to Valencia, Barcelona, and Palma de Mallorca, and the airport operates direct routes to most major European cities year-round.
