Sant Jordi de ses Salines is a small, grounded Ibizan village in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, sitting in the flat agricultural plain that stretches between Ibiza Town and the island’s southern tip. It retains a working local character largely absent from the more tourist-facing parts of the island, with a weekly Sunday market, a modest church square, and low-rise whitewashed architecture that reflects the traditional rural fabric of the interior.

The Sunday market at Sant Jordi is a practical weekly fixture for local produce and second-hand goods. Playa d’en Bossa is under five minutes by car. Ibiza Town, with its restaurants along the Marina and the old walled Dalt Vila, is equally close. The commercial area of Ibiza, including supermarkets and services, is within a ten-minute drive.

Ibiza Airport is approximately three kilometres from Sant Jordi, making this one of the closest residential areas to the terminal on the island. Journey time by car is under five minutes. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with significantly expanded connections from spring through autumn. The ferry port in Ibiza Town, serving Barcelona, Valencia, and Palma de Mallorca, is reachable in around ten minutes by car.
