Port Grimaud is a purpose-built waterfront village on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, conceived in the 1960s by architect François Spoerry as a contemporary interpretation of a Provençal fishing village. Its network of canals, pedestrian lanes, and pastel-coloured facades gives it a character entirely distinct from the surrounding Var coastline. Private moorings front many of the residences directly, and the car-free interior creates a quality of daily life that is rare anywhere on the Côte d’Azur.

The village centre offers restaurants, cafés, and boutiques along the waterfront promenade. The market at Place du Marché runs regularly through the season. Saint-Tropez itself is a short boat ride or a ten-minute drive via the D98A, giving direct access to Place des Lices, the Vieux Port, and the full range of dining and nightlife the peninsula offers.

Toulon-Hyères Airport is approximately 60 kilometres west, around 50 minutes by car. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, the primary international hub for the region with direct connections across Europe and beyond, is roughly 100 kilometres east, typically 90 minutes by road. The nearest TGV station is Les Arcs-Draguignan, around 30 kilometres north, connecting to Paris in approximately four hours.
