Saint Tropez : Peaceful Property At The Entrance Of Saint Tropez

Saint-Tropez occupies a singular position on the French Riviera, a small peninsula town in the Var that has carried international cultural weight since the mid-twentieth century. Despite its global reputation, the town retains a genuinely Provençal core: the old port with its painted fishing boats, the Place des Lices with its twice-weekly market, and the narrow lanes of the Ponche quarter. It is a place where serious money and genuine village life coexist within a few hundred metres of each other.

Daily life centres on the Place des Lices market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the port-side cafés such as Sénéquier, and restaurants including Vague d’Or and Club 55 at Pampelonne beach. The beaches of Ramatuelle and Pampelonne are a short drive south. Gassin and Ramatuelle villages are within ten minutes by car.

Saint-Tropez has no train station. The nearest rail connection is at Saint-Raphaël, approximately 35 kilometres away, with TGV services to Paris in roughly four hours. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is around 100 kilometres by road, typically 90 minutes outside peak summer traffic. Helicopter transfers from Nice to Saint-Tropez take approximately 30 minutes and are widely used by residents during the summer season.
