In The Center Of Saint Tropez

Saint-Tropez occupies a singular position on the French Riviera, a former fishing village on the southern tip of the Var coastline that has evolved into one of the most recognised addresses in the world without surrendering the intimate scale that defines it. The old town, known as the corsair city, retains its ochre and terracotta facades, its narrow lanes, and the working port that has anchored life here for centuries. Place des Lices, the central square shaded by plane trees, remains the social and geographic heart of the town.

Daily life in Saint-Tropez centres on the Tuesday and Saturday markets at Place des Lices, the port-side cafés along Quai Jean Jaurès, and restaurants including Vague d’Or at the Résidence de la Pinède and Le Girelier on the waterfront. The beaches of Pampelonne are a fifteen-minute drive south.

Saint-Tropez has no train station. The nearest rail connection is at Saint-Raphaël, approximately 35 kilometres away, with TGV services to Paris in roughly four hours. By road, Toulon-Hyères Airport is around 60 kilometres west, and Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, the primary international hub for the region, is approximately 100 kilometres east, with journey times varying considerably by season due to traffic on the coastal roads.
