The house, which is independent, was built in the early ‘900 on the ruins of a small castle, in memory of which the road was called “Vicolo Castello”. It was completely renovated in 2019, it really is a gem, a boutique maison that will give you an enveloping environment, a pleasant, relaxing and silent atmosphere of total privacy.

The location
The house is located in the ancient and pretty Borgo San Rocco, inside the ancient city walls, in the historic center. Characteristic village in which you will still find many small shops capable of satisfying your every need (Butchery, Bakery, Greengrocer, Piadineria – Piadina is Italian flat bread speciality, etc.). Thanks to the strategic location of the house in 2 minutes walking you will reach Via Mazzini, which will accompany you into the pedestrian area of the city, where you will find the Basilica of San Francesco, the Basilica of San Vitale, Galla Placidia, Dante’s Tomb, the National Museum of Ravenna, the Franciscan cloisters, the famous Domus of the Stone Carpets, together with other monuments recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In a few steps you can also reach Via Cavour, the central shopping road, restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors.

The House
On the ground floor the unit consists of a large living room with a sofa bed that overlooks a small private courtyard, a large kitchen with all comforts overlooking the courtyard, an office \ laundry room (with washer dryer) and a bathroom with shower. The first floor is divided into a double bedroom with King Size bed, two single bedrooms and a large bathroom; finally, continuing to climb the stairs, you reach via a large motorized window to the roof / terrace from which you can enjoy a glimpse of the neighborhood and the historical wonders of the city center, sipping an aperitif with friends in the comfortable sitting area. The armored entrance door, with electronic locking, is protected by an access code which will be delivered to you upon your arrival. The code is changed at the end of each stay. Particular attention is paid to silence and security, thanks also to the shatterproof and noise-proof windows, together with the acoustic insulation in the perimeter walls.

Always a few minutes’ walk you will find some of the best restaurants in Ravenna, such as Bella Venezia, Il Cerchio, La Ca de Vèn, L’Acciuga, Ai Passatelli, Al Gallo …The house is accessible by car: you can find parking (for free) in front; alternatively there are 2 large public car parks (free of charge), easily reachable in 2 and 4 minutes on foot from the house respectively.
