Ocean Blues

Ocean Blues is a beautiful multi-level home with pool located on Batts Rock, St James. The sea views are stunning from each level and this private home has an enclosed stairway that leads down to a private beach cove or the sea directly, depending on the time of year. There are two one bedroom, one bathroom apartments each with a private balcony and separate entrance. These rent well for holiday rental. The main house is owner occupied for the winter months and has two bedrooms each with bathrooms that share a large balcony. On the level below the bedrooms there is an open plan sitting room a covered verandah and room with a day bed and full bathroom. Also on this level is the well equipped kitchen and laundry room. The inviting plunge pool and terrace is uncovered and has wonderful ocean and sunset views. Above the main bedrooms is a cool roof top deck and there is a car port off the main road. Ocean Blues was one of the first vacation homes in Barbados originally built in the 1970s, it was renovated by well known architect Ian Morrison in the 1990s and the cliffside has been regularly reinforced.
