Residents move between their homes and the sea by foot or by boat, with direct canal access from many properties to the open bay.

Daily life centres on the Place du Marché, where the weekly market, cafés, and restaurants are concentrated. The beach at Port Grimaud runs along the bay with direct access to the Gulf. Saint-Tropez is a ten-minute boat ride across the water, and the medieval village of Grimaud is a short drive inland.

The nearest major road connection is the A8 motorway, accessible via Le Muy, approximately 30 kilometres away. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is around 90 kilometres from Port Grimaud, typically one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes by car depending on traffic. Toulon-Hyères Airport offers a closer alternative at roughly 70 kilometres. There is no direct rail connection to Port Grimaud; the nearest station is Saint-Raphaël, served by TGV services to Paris.
