Pollença sits at the northern tip of Mallorca, framed by the Serra de Tramuntana mountains to the west and the Bay of Pollença to the east. Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres south, reachable by car in under an hour via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times from the airport to Pollença of around 50 minutes by car. There is no rail connection to the town. The nearest ferry terminal for mainland Spain and Barcelona connections is in Palma.
