Residential Pollença Spain

Pollença sits at the northern tip of Mallorca, framed by the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and the calm waters of the Bay of Pollença. It is one of the island’s most culturally intact towns, with a medieval street grid, a Roman bridge, and a weekly Sunday market that has anchored local life for centuries. The town has long attracted artists and intellectuals, giving it a quieter, more considered character than the resort-heavy south of the island.

The Sunday market on Plaça Major is a genuine local institution. Celler La Parra and Il Giardino are reliable dining choices in the town centre. The port, Puerto Pollença, is a ten-minute drive and offers waterfront restaurants, sailing clubs, and a long pedestrian promenade. Formentor beach is roughly 20 kilometres away.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres south, reachable in under an hour by car via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times of two to three hours to London, Paris, and Frankfurt. The airport is roughly 65 kilometres from Pollença, around one hour by car. There is no rail connection to the north of the island from Pollença.
