Quartier Masseboeuf sits within the commune of Plascassier, a rural village attached to Grasse in the hills above the Côte d’Azur. This is classic Provençal back-country: stone farmhouses, terraced olive groves, and wide westward views toward the Esterel massif. The area occupies a distinct position between the perfume capital of Grasse and the internationally recognised village of Valbonne, giving it a quieter, more agricultural character than either of its better-known neighbours.

Valbonne village, with its covered market on Place des Arcades, is roughly ten minutes by car. Grasse town centre, with its covered market hall and the Musée International de la Parfumerie, is under ten minutes. Sophia Antipolis, Europe’s largest technology park, is within a fifteen-minute drive, as are the restaurants and shops of Mougins.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 30 kilometres from Plascassier, reachable in around 35 to 40 minutes by car via the A8 autoroute. Cannes is roughly 20 kilometres to the south, a drive of around 25 minutes. The A8 provides direct access to Monaco to the east and Aix-en-Provence to the west. There is no direct rail connection to Plascassier itself; a car is essential for daily life in this area.
