Are you looking for something extraordinary?
Set on an impressive rocky plateau with a total area of 11,121 m², this historic property dates back to the 18th century. The estate is currently used as a venue for group gatherings of many kinds and also serves as a charming guesthouse.
Three main houses enclose an idyllic inner courtyard garden with diverse planting and a covered, historic wash area. The exposed location at the crest of the Orba Valley offers a breathtaking panoramic view that is hard to put into words. The sunrises in particular are a daily natural spectacle of exceptional beauty.
La Estufa (”The Oven”)
Located to the right of the entrance is the charming little house ”La Estufa.” Grapes were once dried here—hence the name. Today it offers:
- Two bedrooms
- Two bathrooms
- A living room
- A kitchen
The view from the main bedroom is spectacular.
El Riurau
On the left is the largest building on the estate. Beneath its eight distinctive arches, you can enjoy pleasant shade and a direct view of the garden. The house features:
- Four independent guest rooms, each with its own bathroom
- Two common rooms
- A dining room
- A kitchen with a dreamlike view
- A separate apartment
A historic washhouse opposite the building invites you to linger and underscores the original character of the ensemble.
La Casota
The third building contains a spacious main apartment with:
- Two bedrooms
- A large bathroom
- A large living room
- An expansive kitchen
It is complemented by an additional room and a separate studio with its own bathroom and kitchen.
A stylishly integrated swimming pool with terracotta tiles blends harmoniously into the overall setting. On the opposite side of the buildings, several terraces with olive trees extend out and are currently used as vegetable and fruit gardens.
Beyond all the impressive facts, it is above all the peaceful energy of this place that makes it so special. From every corner, a soothing calm seems to flow—a feeling of being slightly removed from the world. And yet it is only about a 30-minute drive to the beach and to Dénia.
Fleix is the middle of three charming villages in the municipality of Vall de Laguar. The village lies at the upper ridge of the Orba Valley, which stretches picturesquely toward Dénia and the Mediterranean Sea.
From here you can enjoy a spectacular view over the valley—a panorama that impresses at any time of day.
The region is especially known among hikers and nature lovers. A highlight is the famous Barranc de l’Infern—also called “Hell Gorge”—with its more than 6,000 historic steps. In addition, the surrounding area offers many other hiking and cycling routes, unspoiled nature, and a soothing tranquility far from mass tourism.
A suspension bridge is currently planned to provide access to a cave with drawings thousands of years old. The construction of a zip line down into the valley is also being discussed—exciting prospects for careful, sustainable tourism development.
A special natural spectacle takes place every year in March, when the cherry blossom turns the valley into a delicate sea of white and pink and attracts many visitors.
Despite the quiet, nature-close location, the infrastructure is excellent.
Features and amenities include:
- Built-in cupboards
- Furnished
- Built-in kitchen
- Separate sanitary facilities
- Appliances
- BBQ area
- Green view
- Water view
- Mountain view
- Open view
- Outdoor space
