In the heart of the Marais, in the historic district of Sainte-Avoye. A bit of history... During the reign of Francis I, there already existed at this location the hotel known as l’Ermitage. It was sold in 1618 to Claude Passart, a financier, notary, and secretary to King Louis XIII, who had it transformed by the architect and contractor Gabriel Soulignac. The Passart hotel has been listed as a historical monument since 1984. It is one of the few buildings of this style, situated between courtyard and garden, still preserved in the Marais. (photos of the garden accessible by the owners of the ground floor). Rue Chapon is one of the most peaceful and emblematic streets of the Marais, lined with private hotels, galleries, and artists’ studios. It is a very beautiful central address and quiet. The apartment is located on the 3rd and top floor, accessible by an elevator, measuring 78.87m2 Carrez and 91.71m2 on the ground. The volumes and brightness are generous, (5.20 meters at the ridge), it has been redone by the renowned international architect decorator Juan Pablo Molyneux, whose style is distinguished by eclecticism, elegance, and very refined craftsmanship. Many very elegant details in this rare place, Versailles parquet, beautiful marquetry work in the dressing room, azulejos tiles, and six very beautiful windows, three of which overlook the sublime courtyard of the Passart Hotel. Nestled on the top floor of an exceptional monument, this rare place embodies the union of historical heritage with contemporary comfort.
