Dammuso Sibà: Two Steps From The Woods

A large property at the foot of the big mount .
This is an ancient dammuso, to be fully experienced the owner renovated with love and attention to detail.
Every old smaller rooms, such as stables and warehouses, after their restore now are part of a large open space.
The central part of the dammuso is a large living area with fireplace, with windows overlooking the Pantelleria garden, whit a lovely and spacious kitchen, it’s perfect if you love cooking or stay around the large table with friend for dinner party, at the end it has a studyroom with a small library.
You can go outside through a few steps and through two doors. One of this go into the Pantelleria garden, here you can enjoying the scent of the orange threes, the other go to the driveway and garden.
From here you can also access at the sleeping area whit the main suite. It is a very large space with bed in the main position, with large closet, a spacious and light-filled living room / study and two bathrooms.

Externally we find the other bathroom / laundry room and a small bedroom.

The property has also a comfortable and spacious dependence but it is separate from the main structure and which consists of a bedroom, mezzanine, bathroom and kitchenette with its own terrace covered by cannizzi.

Inside the property various other rooms have been created including a large garage (it can accommodate a small boat, a car and a scooter); a small cellar, a couple of warehouses and storerooms for storing garden equipment and furniture; and a small but efficient workshop.

The large surrounding land is full of all kinds of plants including an orchard, an olive grove, a vineyard etc. While many relaxation areas, gazebos, and a richly planted garden surround and embrace the dammuso, leaving a wide choice of places to take naps or read books.

We think it is a perfect place for peace lovers because here it is the queen.

Una grande proprietà ai piedi della Montagna Grande.
Un antico dammuso ristrutturato con amore e cura dei particolari per essere vissuto in pieno.
Tutti gli ambienti più piccoli come stalle e magazzini, un pò stravolti nella loro originale struttura fanno parte di un grande open space.

La parte centrale del dammuso infatti è la grande zona giorno.
Un salotto con camino e vetrate che guardano verso il giardino pantesco e su cui si affaccia la graziosa e spaziosa cucina perfetta per gli amanti della buona tavola oltre ad uno studiolo con una piccola biblioteca.

Attraverso qualche gradino si può uscire all’esterno, da una parte sul giardino pantesco godendone il profumo di zagare e dall’altra sul vialetto d’ingresso verso il giardino.
Da qui inoltre si accede alla zona notte o meglio alla suite padronale al cui interno oltre al letto in posizione principe, troviamo cabina armadio, un soggiorno/studio spazioso e pieno di luce e due bagni.

Esternamente troviamo il locale bagno/lavanderia ed una piccola cameretta.

Dalla ristrutturazione del vecchio mulino è stata ricavata una dependance, anche’essa comoda e spaziosa oltre che separata dalla struttura principale e che si compone di una camera da letto, soppalco, bagno e cucinino con proprio terrazzino coperto da cannizzi.

All’interno della proprietà sono stati ricavati vari altri locali tra cui un garage capiente (può ospitare un barchino, un’auto ed uno scooter); una piccola cantina, un paio di magazzini e depositi dove riporre le attrezzature ed i mobili da giardino; ed una piccola ma efficiente officina.

Il grande terreno circostante è ricco di ogni genere di piante tra cui un frutteto, un uliveto, un vigneto ecc. Mentre molte aree relax, gazebi, ed un giardino riccamente piantumato circondano ed abbracciano il dammuso lasciando ampia scelta di luoghi dove schiacciare pisolini o leggere libri.

Insomma il luogo perfetto per gli amanti della quiete che qui regna sovrana. Un matrimonio perfetto tra natura e confort.
