Above the Central Valley of Costa Rica lies a stunning corridor of rainforest that is home to some of the most significant biodiversity and topography in the region. Less than an hour’s drive north of SJO airport amongst the coffee farms and rural villages lies a temperate mountainous landscape hosting the La Paz river valley, with its countless waterfalls in an Eden-like setting.

Set in the midst of this lush rainforest is a property that, due to its dramatic disposition, hosts one of the highest concentrations of waterfalls and unspoiled hydrological/biological diversity in Central America.
Within this Pure Waterfall Sanctuary is a 65.7 acre (26.6HA) development property featuring six waterfalls, numerous cascades, two rivers, and spectacular hydrology (weeping walls, countless smaller waterfalls) where you can witness the spectacle of raw nature and its breathtaking power.

A new access road and a system of hiking trails allow visitors to explore the land, rivers, and numerous waterfalls. At 312 feet in height, these are one of the highest and most pristine falls in the country and remains a major tourist destination (even though its nearest public viewpoint is over a mile away). This site has up close and direct access to the falls, creating an incredible experience – and an adventure one will never forget!

Extensive investment in infrastructure (power, water, road, trails, viewpoints, drainage culverts, entrance gates, etc.) has primed the land for immediate development with legal and municipal usage agreements in place.
Availability of power and the property’s own unlimited clean water sources will make permitting and master planning a straightforward process. SelvaTico is located 45-50 minutes north of the international San Jose airport (SJO) on the newly improved National Route 126.
