Mougins occupies a hilltop position in the Alpes-Maritimes, roughly ten kilometres inland from Cannes, and has long attracted an international community drawn by its medieval village core, its art galleries, and its reputation as one of the most refined addresses on the Côte d’Azur. The old village, a classified site, is a compact circuit of cobbled lanes, Renaissance fountains, and restored stone facades that has changed little in character over centuries. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 25 kilometres from Mougins, reachable in 25 to 35 minutes by car depending on traffic, with direct flights to most European capitals and long-haul connections. Cannes train station, served by TGV and regional services, connects to Paris in roughly five and a half hours and to Monaco in under an hour. The A8 motorway provides fast access east toward Monaco and west toward Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.
