Selva is a small, historic municipality in the Raiguer region of Mallorca’s interior, set against the southern slopes of the Serra de Tramuntana. The town and its satellite hamlet of Moscari retain a distinctly rural, unhurried character that contrasts sharply with the coastal resort belt. The weekly market in nearby Inca, roughly eight kilometres away, is the practical hub for provisions. Lloseta and Binissalem, both within ten minutes by car, offer local restaurants and wine estates. Palma’s dining and cultural scene is accessible within 35 to 40 minutes. The Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, begins immediately to the north.

Inca, the nearest town of scale, is served by the Palma to Manacor rail line, with trains reaching Palma Intermodal Station in approximately 35 minutes. By car, Palma is around 30 to 35 kilometres via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma de Mallorca Airport handles direct routes to most major European cities and is reachable in roughly 40 minutes from Selva, making year-round residence entirely practical.
