Built at the top of a hill among olive trees and vineyards, this villa overlooks the Valdinievole valley, defining the village of Montevettolini, and retaining its original architectural beauty and serenity. The Villa has been carefully restored and improved by the present owner, the prince Borghese, whose family bought the property more than 200 years ago. All the rooms are decorated with original furniture and paintings, Venetian glass chandeliers and Persian carpets.
The Villa features 6 bedrooms all en suite, with living areas and common spaces of a stunning beauty. Ground floor is composed by the premises (kitchen and service staff areas) and a large indoor dining room, with 20 seated places in an imperial table, with a huge fireplace. On the first floor there are two wings, divided by a Royal living room: the left wing has two master bedrooms en suite and the original Chapel of the Medici family. The Royal living room has more than 10 sofas, a royal fireplace and many marble decorations from past centuries. The right wing has a TV room and an ancient red library, with original books from the past three centuries, and two twin or double bedrooms en suite. Both wings can be reached from downstairs separately.
In the garden in front of the Villa there is an ’alfresco’ panoramic area, covered with green leaves, with stone and marble tables and chairs, overlooking the swimming pool and the stunning panoramic view in front of the property, all surrounded by century-old lemon trees and flower bushes from all over the world.
A monumental staircase leads to the very big Swimming pool, 18m x7m width, with stairs entrance and an elevated sun-bathing area.

Lucca, a fortified town rising amidst vineyards and olive trees in the hills of Tuscany, is one of the main art cities in Italy. The most important European textile center since the Middle Ages, it keeps track of a rich history in the elegant and majestic villas with magnificent parks outside the walls, that once were the residences of the wealthy families active in the silk trade. What amazes most the visitors, however, are the Renaissance walls of the XV century surrounding the historic core of the city. The works promoted in the XIX century by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, in honor of her brother Napoleon, led to the current structure of the central square Piazza Napoleone. The city also boasts many medieval churches of great architectural impact which make it gain the nickname of “the City of 100 Churches”. Lucca is one of the prides of Tuscany for its beauty and enchanting atmosphere and, thanks to this, many foreign visitors, after visiting the city and admiring its culture, choose it as a place to establish their second residence.
