Duplex Villa Doppio At Mfg's Villa Miami

Major Food Group, the restaurant company behind Carbone and Sadelle’s, has never put its name on a residential building before Villa Miami. The 55 story tower rising in the Edgewater neighborhood along Biscayne Bay marks the group’s first foray into real estate, developed with Terra and One Thousand Group and designed inside by Vicky Charles of Charles and Co.

Among the building’s residence types, Villa Doppio combines two full floors into a single home. This example, spanning the 45th and 46th floors, carries six bedrooms, six bathrooms and two powder rooms across 11,902 to 11,910 square feet of interior space, with four private terraces adding another 1,194 to 1,226 square feet, for a total of roughly 13,474 to 13,498 square feet. Two kitchens, two family rooms, a private office, staff quarters and two laundry rooms round out the layout, connected by a private elevator.

Mario Carbone, the chef and a founder of Major Food Group, worked directly on the kitchen designs throughout the building. Countertops are cut from Taj Mahal quartzite, cabinetry comes from Italy with a choice of green or cream lacquer, and appliances are a mix of CornuFe, Wolf and Sub Zero. Bathrooms are finished in greige onyx porcelain and travertine, with fixtures by Dornbracht and Duravit.

Future residents share the building’s full amenity program, including a Major Food Group restaurant with private dining rooms, a spa modeled on Italian thermal baths, a fitness center with yoga, pilates and boxing studios, a private dock, helipad access and a floating pool vessel moored in the bay near the cove. A members only club adds a library, screening room, billiards room and family lounge. Expected to be complete in 2027.
