Clarkes Island & Big Island, Only 35 Km Away From Downtown Halifax

There may be hundreds of islands in Nova Scotia but there are none like these! Clarkes Island (101 ac) and Big Island (25 ac) and the connecting arm in between (15 ac) just 35 km away from downtown Halifax and 12 km from historic Peggy's cove. Though just outside of Halifax this is an escape from it all.

Nature has blessed this area with sandy beaches, rugged shorelines and fresh breezes. The islands are surrounded by deep water. Fishing, boating is nothing but spectacular. The area between Big Island and Clarkes Island is a deep mooring, safe haven to boats in the worst of storms.
