Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2016, La Cité Radieuse in Marseille is an iconic work of Le Corbusier. Built between 1948 and 1952 during the Reconstruction period, it represents the culmination of his research on housing and modern architecture. This type E duplex was renovated in 2026. The extension of the kitchen into the living room was removed, restoring the original layout: an open void over the living room allowing light to flood the living spaces as Le Corbusier had envisioned. It offers approximately 90 m² of living space over two levels. The upper level features an entrance with storage that leads to a kitchen remodeled in the 1970s by an architect, located where the original kitchen was, an open dining area overlooking the lower level living room, and a double-height glass roof. The lower level, which spans the width of the building, is accessed by a Jean Prouvé staircase and includes the sleeping area and the living room. The living room, with its double height, is notable for its spaciousness, brightness, and an outdoor loggia. The sleeping area consists of a master bedroom and a bathroom, benefiting from an outdoor loggia with views of the mountains and the city of Marseille. The apartment also features numerous original storage spaces.

Since 2007, Architecture de Collection has been developing a commercial project that is unique in France, based on a cultural ambition: working to pass on the remarkable architectural heritage of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Our agency is run by a team of art historians and real estate professionals, who combine their skills to create an expertise that is unique on the market: enhancing architectural quality by combining real estate analysis with a study of property assets.

An Art Deco artist’s studio in Paris, a Le Corbusier duplex in Marseille, a modernist villa by the sea, a bubble house on a mountainside or in the countryside… Across the country, we identify iconic properties designed by the greatest modern and contemporary architects in search of value-conscious buyers, as well as lesser-known and often more affordable properties.
