Built in the 1900s, this old seaside villa with Mediterranean charm spans 180 m² facing the sea, in the highly sought-after Roucas district above the Prophet beach.
Completely redesigned in 2021 by ARCHIK’s partners architect Ilaria Fatone and landscape designer Elodie Wherlen the house was conceived as a luminous refuge open to the surrounding landscape. Here, the architectural design gives pride of place to the Mediterranean. The clean lines, minimalist volumes, and omnipresent white reveal spectacular sea views like living paintings. Access is via an external staircase, like a gradual ascent towards the horizon. A first terrace, adorned with natural Moroccan bejmats, immediately sets the tone: raw materials, elegant simplicity, and a sun-drenched atmosphere. A built-in bench graces the terrace overlooking the sea. Large sliding glass doors then open onto a spacious living area that seamlessly blends the lounge and kitchen in a contemporary style. Facing southwest, the lounge offers a striking sense of overlooking the water, with the Plage du Prophète as a daily backdrop. The house retains its old-world charm thanks to its original staircase that serves the upper floors. The first floor houses two suites with deliberately minimalist lines. Each enjoys a spectacular sea view through large windows that frame the landscape. A discreet laundry room completes this level. In the attic, a spacious bedroom occupies the entire top floor. Designed with a clean aesthetic, it features a minimalist bathroom with a bathtub, always oriented towards the outside and the light. On the garden level, a large room currently used as an office could also accommodate an additional bedroom. Designed entirely in a contemporary Mediterranean style, this unique house is in constant dialogue with the landscape. Here, the view is something to be earned… and never leaves.
A discreet address where the architecture fades into the background in favor of a continuous spectacle. Information on the risks to which this property is exposed is available on the Géorisques website: https://www.georisques.gouv.fr/
