The Golden Mile is the most prestigious residential corridor on the Costa del Sol, stretching approximately three kilometres between Marbella town and Puerto Banús along the N-340 coastal road. Long established as the address of choice for European royalty, international business figures, and old-money families, it combines direct beach access with a sense of seclusion that the broader Marbella area cannot match. The Marbella Club, which anchors the strip’s identity, has defined the tone of the area since the 1950s: discreet, well-maintained, and consistently high in calibre.

Daily life on the Golden Mile centres on the Marbella Club and Puente Romano hotels, both of which operate restaurants, beach clubs, and tennis facilities open to residents. The Nobu restaurant at Puente Romano and La Sala are within a short drive. Marbella’s old town, with its Plaza de los Naranjos and covered market, is roughly five minutes by car.

Marbella town is reachable in under ten minutes by car. Málaga Airport, the main international gateway for the Costa del Sol, is approximately 55 kilometres east along the AP-7 motorway, a journey of around 45 minutes outside peak traffic. Gibraltar Airport is roughly 90 kilometres to the west, offering an alternative entry point. There is no rail connection to Marbella itself; private transfer or car hire are the standard options for residents.
