Elviria-Cabopino sits on the eastern stretch of the Marbella coastline, roughly 12 kilometres from the town centre, and occupies a distinct position between the well-established residential enclave of Elviria and the low-key marina at Cabopino. The area is characterised by pine-covered hillsides, wide sandy beaches, and a residential scale that feels noticeably quieter than the Golden Mile corridor. Properties here tend to sit within gated developments, and the overall density remains low compared to central Marbella.

Daily life centres on the Elviria commercial strip along the N-340, which includes a Mercadona supermarket, several neighbourhood restaurants, and the long-established Nikki Beach club a short drive west. Cabopino marina offers waterside dining and a small yacht harbour. The beaches at Artola and Cabopino, backed by protected dunes, are within easy reach on foot or by bicycle.

The A-7 coastal road connects Elviria-Cabopino to central Marbella in approximately 15 minutes by car and to Puerto Banús in around 20 minutes. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is roughly 40 kilometres west, accessible in 30 to 40 minutes via the AP-7 toll motorway. There is no direct rail connection; private car or taxi remains the standard mode of transport for residents in this part of the coast.
