The Golden Mile is the stretch of coastline running between Marbella and Puerto Banús, long established as the most prestigious residential address on the Costa del Sol. The corridor is defined by its mature pine and palm-lined boulevard, discreet walled estates, and a concentration of five-star hotels including the Marbella Club and Puente Romano. The scale is generous, the architecture predominantly low-rise, and the overall character is one of established, understated wealth rather than the more commercial energy found closer to Marbella’s old town.

Puente Romano Beach Resort, with its tennis club, spa, and multiple restaurants including Nobu Marbella, is within walking distance. The beach is accessible on foot in around ten minutes. Puerto Banús, with its marina, boutiques, and dining, is a five-minute drive west. Marbella’s historic old town and the Mercado de Abastos are roughly ten minutes east by car.

Marbella is served by the A-7 coastal road and the AP-7 toll motorway, connecting directly to Málaga in approximately 45 minutes by car. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport handles over 200 routes and is the primary international gateway, located roughly 60 kilometres east. A second option, Gibraltar Airport, sits around 75 kilometres to the southwest and offers connections to the UK. There is no rail connection to Marbella itself; private transfer or car remains the standard mode of arrival.
