Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is approximately 60 kilometers from Marbella, around 45 minutes by car, and operates direct routes to most major European cities as well as transatlantic connections. Málaga city, reachable in under an hour, provides the high-speed AVE rail network with direct services to Madrid in under two and a half hours and to Barcelona in roughly four and a half hours. The AP-7 motorway runs the length of the coast.
