Puerto de Cabopino sits on the eastern edge of Marbella’s coastline, where a small private marina anchors a low-density residential enclave that has been deliberately protected from the overdevelopment that characterises much of the Costa del Sol. The area is defined by its pine forest running down to natural sand dunes, a Blue Flag beach consistently rated among the finest on the coast, and a planning environment that has kept density and building heights tightly controlled for decades.
The marina at Cabopino has several waterfront restaurants and a small commercial strip. Elviria’s shopping centre, with a supermarket and everyday services, is a five-minute drive. La Cala de Mijas and central Marbella’s Puerto Banús are both reachable within twenty minutes by car. Cabopino Golf Marbella, an 18-hole course, is directly adjacent to the urbanization.
Marbella town centre is approximately 12 kilometres to the west, around fifteen minutes by car via the A-7 coastal road. Málaga International Airport is roughly 45 kilometres away, with a typical drive time of 35 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. The AP-7 toll motorway provides the fastest connection and is accessible from the Cabopino junction less than two kilometres from the urbanization.
