The Costa del Sol is known as the Costa del Golf among lovers of this sport, thanks to its more than 40 courses. Half of them are in Marbella.
Life in Marbella encompasses a whole palette of colours, from the most traditional white of the whitewashed houses of the fishing port to the gold of the luxury of the Golden Mile.
Passing through the elegant black of the nightclubs of Puerto Banús, through the blue and ochre of its almost 30 kilometres of coastline or through the hundreds of shades of the flowers that hang from the balconies in its old town. That’s why living in Marbella is a real privilege. #ref:CBSH187_C

Rio Real and Los Monteros form one of the most established residential corridors on the eastern edge of Marbella, where the Sierra Blanca foothills meet the coastline. The area is defined by low-density development, mature gardens, and a sense of separation from the more commercial stretches of the Costa del Sol. Los Monteros in particular carries a long-standing reputation as one of Marbella’s most discreet and well-maintained enclaves, favoured by buyers who prioritise privacy and direct beach access.
The beach at Los Monteros is within walking distance, as is the Rio Real Golf Club, one of Marbella’s oldest courses. The N-340 coastal road connects quickly to Marbella’s old town and the Golden Mile, both under ten minutes by car. Puerto Banús is roughly fifteen minutes west. Marbella’s central market and main dining streets are a short drive.
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is approximately 45 kilometres from Rio Real, a drive of around 35 to 40 minutes via the AP-7 motorway. Marbella has no rail connection, so the car remains the primary mode of transport. Málaga city centre, with its high-speed AVE rail links to Madrid (under two and a half hours) and connections to Seville and Granada, is accessible in under an hour from this address.
