Residential Llubí Spain

Llubí is a small agricultural municipality in the heart of Mallorca’s central plain, the Pla, sitting roughly equidistant between Palma and the northern coast. It is one of the quietest and most authentically Mallorcan settlements on the island, largely untouched by the tourism infrastructure that defines the coastline. The village retains its traditional character through stone architecture, working farmland, and a pace of life that draws buyers seeking genuine rural Mallorca rather than a resort experience.

The weekly market in Llubí itself is modest, but Inca, approximately 10 kilometres south, offers a well-established Thursday market and a broader range of shops and restaurants. The historic town of Sineu, known for its Wednesday livestock market, is around 8 kilometres away. The beaches of the north coast, including those near Alcúdia and Can Picafort, are reachable in under 30 minutes by car.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 40 kilometres south, a journey of around 35 to 40 minutes by car via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport, one of Spain’s busiest international airports with direct connections to most major European cities and year-round flights to Madrid and Barcelona, is roughly the same distance. There is no direct rail connection from Llubí, but Inca station links to Palma by train in approximately 30 minutes.
