In an extraordinary rural setting, just 11 km from Comillas and its beaches, this unique property consists of three noble stone buildings made of ashlar and rubble, which have preserved their original appearance for centuries. Shortly after its last renovation carried out in 2022, the complex has been declared a Cultural Heritage Site by the authorities of Cantabria. The main building is a 15th-century defensive tower with a square floor plan and a four-pitched roof. Adjacent to it are two 18th-century buildings, the former stable and the barn, now converted into housing, which total 500 m² of constructed area. Additionally, there is a later construction currently used as a garage. The entire complex forms a single residence that, despite the various renovations carried out over time, maintains its original structure and numerous constructive and decorative elements. In its latest rehabilitation, a comprehensive improvement of all the buildings was made, harmonizing the ancient elements with a current and elegant decoration. The residence features a distributor, a spacious living room with a fireplace, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and 7 bedrooms with bathrooms, one of which is located in the defensive tower. It also offers a patio enclosed by a stone wall and, on its rear facade, a cozy terrace that directly overlooks the Escudo River. The property sits on a gently sloping land of 57,000 m², bordering one of its ends with the riverbank, which maintains a plentiful flow throughout the year. It is located in the village of Las Cuevas, with excellent communication to emblematic places in Cantabria such as San Vicente de la Barquera, Santillana del Mar, or Santander, just 50 km away via the A-8 motorway.
