La Môle is a small commune in the Var department, set inland from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez between the Maures massif and the coastal plain. The village retains a genuinely rural character, with vineyards, cork oak woodland, and garrigue defining the landscape. It sits at a remove from the coastal tourist circuit, which gives it a quieter, more agricultural identity while remaining within easy reach of one of the most sought-after stretches of the French Riviera.

The nearest market town is Cogolin, approximately 10 kilometres away, with weekly markets, restaurants, and everyday services. Saint-Tropez is around 15 kilometres by road. The village of La Môle itself has a local restaurant, the Auberge de La Môle, with a long-standing reputation in the area.

La Môle has its own small airfield, Aéroport de La Môle Saint-Tropez, which handles private and charter flights and is roughly 5 kilometres from the village centre. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 100 kilometres to the east, around 90 minutes by car depending on coastal traffic. The nearest SNCF rail connection is at Saint-Raphaël, around 40 kilometres away, with TGV services linking to Paris in approximately three and a half hours.
