Historic 18th Century Venetian Style Mansion

Historic mansion, formerly an old monastery in the heart of the traditional village of Kompitsi, dated since 1742, with a total restoration done during the 1960s.

The mansion, which requires renovation, features monastic-style and Venetian architecture. The arched entrance, located on the eastern side, along with the imposing columns, exemplifies Venetian architecture and is both simple and imposing, reflecting the building’s historical character.

The exterior layout forms a ”U” shape, enclosing a serene inner courtyard of 260sq.m. The three sides of the building are connected, while the fourth side is open. At the heart of this atrium flourishes a lush garden filled with citrus trees and vibrant flowers, creating a heavenly atmosphere that evokes a sense of paradise.

The left side of the main entrance, as well as the right side of the southern entrance, lead to the second level of the mansion. From there, the view of the interior of the mansion and the lush garden is truly stunning. Every side of the building and every window offers a unique perspective and different images of the traditional village of Kompitsi.

The interior space and the whole area of the mansion evoke a sense of grandeur and awe in anyone who steps inside, transporting them to another era.
