The historic Linnunpää Manor near Turku, mentioned in history books since the Middle Ages, is now for sale!

A glance at the map reveals why people already settled in this Linnunpää region as early as the 14th century. The manor is located near Turku, nestled in the sheltered innermost part of the long Peimari Bay / Paimio Inlet. In those times, this location made it easy to farm, fish, and trade, and it still does.

Today, the estate covers approximately 320 hectares, consisting of around 290 hectares of land and 30 hectares of private water area. Of the land, 130 hectares is drained farmland, mostly surrounding the main farm center, and 115 hectares is productive forest. According to the current forest management plan, the forest contains approximately 13,000 m³ of pulpwood and 11,000 m³ of saw timber. The estate also includes two shoreline plots with building rights according to the local shoreline plan. The property features about 1 km of shoreline facing southeast, south, and west. A stunning feature of the estate is Papinvuori, a hill rising directly from the water’s edge with breathtaking views across the surrounding landscape, the feeling is akin to being somewhere else in Finland, where the rocky terrain forms a dramatic, almost national landscape.

The beautifully maintained grounds of Linnunpää Manor, with its buildings, pond, and old trees, form an exceptionally beautiful whole. It is evident that the estate has been lovingly cared for throughout the centuries. The main building was reconstructed in the early 1960s and remains in excellent condition. The house and its technical systems have been renovated and updated in the 2000s by the current owner with great respect for its heritage. Major renovations, including drainage and stormwater systems, as well as modernizations of the building’s interior, were carried out between 2013 and 2015. The building underwent a condition inspection in 2025. There are five buildings currently rented out, while the remaining 18 buildings in the courtyard primarily serve the estate’s upkeep and operations.
