History of the Property:
Holmsbu Bad has operated as a hotel and dining establishment since 1885. The original Holmsbu Hotel was destroyed by fire in 1922 and was rebuilt in 1926. In 1938, the Holmsbu painter Erling Clausen created the large wall murals that still adorn the walls of what was then the hotel’s dining room. The hotel has been well maintained over the years, with several major renovations carried out. A significant extension was added in 2007/2008.
