Well Developed Mixed Farm In The Free State

A well-developed mixed farm bordering the Vaal dam is in the market.

This farm is suitable for producing different grains under dryland conditions as well as livestock production.

The farm consists of:

Arable Lands 270 hectares - 4 camps
Natural Grazing 240 hectares - 2 camps
TOTAL: 510 hectares

The average yield for different grains is as follow:

Maize 4 - 4.5 Ton/ha
Soybeans 2 - 2.2 Ton/ha
Sunflower 1.5 - 1.8 Ton/ha

The natural grazing is divided into two camps, both supplied with water from a borehole equipped with a windpump, as well as a submersible pump powered by a generator when required. The farm features two cement dams and two earth dams, with additional access to drinking water from the Vaal Dam.

The quality of the natural grazing is excellent, largely due to the dominance of rooigras.
