Guejar Sierra Hotel

Güéjar Sierra is a mountain village in the province of Granada, sitting at approximately 1,800 metres within the Sierra Nevada Natural and National Park, one of the most protected and ecologically significant landscapes in Spain. The village retains a traditional Andalusian character, with stone architecture, terraced terrain, and direct access to the high-altitude trails and river gorges of the Genil valley. Its position within a dual-designated natural and national park gives it a permanence and environmental integrity that is rare in the region.

The village has a small commercial core with local bars and a weekly market. The Barranco de San Juan gorge and the Acequia Gorda irrigation trail are accessible on foot. The ski resort at Pradollano is 8 kilometres away. Granada city, with its full range of restaurants, cultural institutions, and services, is approximately 25 kilometres by road.

Granada city is reached in roughly 35 to 40 minutes by car via the A-395. Granada railway station connects to Madrid by high-speed AVE service in under three hours, and to Seville in approximately two and a half hours. Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport is located around 20 kilometres from Granada city and operates direct routes to major Spanish cities and several European destinations, with Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport offering broader international connectivity at approximately 130 kilometres.
