Azienda Grosseto

WINE FARM of approximately 80 hectares in total located in a slightly hilly position about 20 km from the sea, in a private position and in a very interesting landscape context of the Tuscan Maremma. The actual vineyard area extends for approximately 44 hectares, is entirely irrigated and is trained mainly with spurred cordon and minimally with Guyot. The planting layout is characterized by having a distance between the rows of 2 meters and a row spacing varying between 75 cm and 90 cm. The most representative vines are Merlot (13 ha), Cabernet (9 ha), Vermentino (8 ha) and Sangiovese (8 ha). The indicative grape production is approximately 3,500/3,800 quintals per year. The property includes portions of arable land for approximately 5.5 hectares, a small olive grove of approximately 1 hectare and portions of coppice forest. An integral part of the company is a complex of properties characterized by a main farmhouse measuring approximately 300 m2 in total on 2 levels and divided into 2 homes as well as warehouse rooms and various outbuildings for a total of approximately 260 m2.
