Renovated House Port Grimaud

Grimaud is a commune in the Var department that encompasses both the medieval hilltop village of Grimaud and the waterfront development of Port Grimaud, a planned canal town designed by architect François Spoerry and completed from the late 1960s onward. Port Grimaud is often called the Venice of Provence: a private, pedestrianised enclave of coloured facades, private moorings, and interconnected canals opening directly onto the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The combination of Provençal architectural character and direct water access gives this address a profile found almost nowhere else on the Côte d’Azur.

Port Grimaud has its own market square, Place du Marché, with weekly markets and waterfront restaurants including La Table du Mareyeur. Saint-Tropez is a ten-minute boat ride or roughly fifteen minutes by car. Sainte-Maxime is five kilometres along the coast. The beaches of Port Grimaud are accessible on foot from within the enclave.

The nearest major transport hub is Toulon-Hyères Airport, approximately 70 kilometres west, around one hour by car. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is roughly 100 kilometres east, typically 75 to 90 minutes by road depending on traffic. The nearest SNCF rail station is Les Arcs-Draguignan, around 25 kilometres north, with TGV connections to Paris in approximately four hours. The A8 motorway is accessible via the D25 from Grimaud.
