Gordes. Exclusive. From the moment you arrive, a genuine emotion grips you. Sheltered from view, nestled in a nearly 4-hectare natural terraced setting, fully enclosed, lies a rare property where stone, light, and silence harmonize perfectly. Originally built in 1974, then completely rebuilt, expanded, and renovated in 2019, this dry-stone farmhouse, facing southeast, blends gracefully into the landscape. A majestic driveway lined with Mediterranean trees leads to the main house, subtly set in the heart of a landscaped park. (A separate service entrance provides direct access to the pantry and kitchen). Offering 317 m² of living space over two levels, the property, decorated with the help of a renowned Parisian designer, elegantly combines the charm of Provençal architecture with contemporary comfort. The volumes are generous, the materials noble, and light abundant, creating a soft and warm atmosphere, decidedly connected to nature. It comprises: - 7 independent suites - Several living areas - A sumptuous two-story lounge-library with a custom-designed fireplace - A sunlit veranda that extends the seasons An ideal place to host family and friends in complete privacy throughout the year. The outdoors reflect the essence of the place: natural, elegant, and inspiring. The heated pool offers spectacular views of the valley. The vast terraces invite sharing, relaxation, and contemplation. The vegetable garden and orchard are abundantly fertile, producing tomatoes, artichokes, zucchinis, peppers, herbs of Provence, goji berries, almonds, cherries, grapes — not to mention a remarkable and discreet truffle production. Within the park itself (where a large children’s play area has been created), over 1,500 rare trees and plants have been planted in ten years, most requiring no watering. The garden blooms throughout spring, summer, and autumn. A stream and a fountain accompany a lavender field. In the shade of cedars and oaks, a pétanque court recalls the Provençal art of living, while a fitted caravan, accommodating 4 people, adds a bohemian and poetic touch to the place. A carport for 6 vehicles completes the ensemble. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, just minutes from the center of Gordes village, one of the most beautiful villages in the world. A rare living place, a haven of serenity and inspiration, designed to welcome both everyday moments and exceptional occasions, in an inspiring, peaceful setting, fully embracing the art of living and entertaining. 45 minutes from Avignon TGV station and 1 hour from Marseille-Provence airport. Gordes occupies a dramatic position on the northern edge of the Luberon, its medieval stone village rising in tiers above the Imergue valley in a way that has made it one of the most recognized villages in France. The architecture is almost entirely dry-stone construction, the streets narrow and steep, and the light particular to this part of the Vaucluse has drawn painters, photographers, and serious collectors for generations. The surrounding plateau and valley are protected within the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon.

The weekly market in Gordes runs on Tuesday mornings. The Abbey of Sénanque, a working Cistercian monastery surrounded by lavender fields, is three kilometers from the village center. The Village des Bories, an open-air museum of dry-stone dwellings, is immediately below the village. Bonnieux, Ménerbes, and Roussillon are each within a twenty-minute drive.

The Avignon TGV station is approximately 45 minutes by car, connecting to Paris Gare de Lyon in roughly two hours and forty minutes. Marseille Provence Airport is about one hour by road, with direct flights to major European hubs and seasonal international routes. Aix-en-Provence is reachable in under an hour. There is no rail service directly to Gordes; a car is essential for daily life in this part of the Luberon.
