Golfe De Saint Tropez Gassin 6 Bedroom Villa

Gassin is one of the most elevated and best-preserved hilltop villages in the Var, sitting above the Golfe de Saint-Tropez at roughly 200 metres. Classified among the Plus Beaux Villages de France, it offers a genuinely medieval character: narrow stone lanes, a Romanesque church, and unobstructed views across the gulf toward Saint-Tropez and the Massif des Maures. The village has resisted the commercial pressures that have reshaped much of the coastline below it.

Saint-Tropez is approximately 10 minutes by car, giving direct access to Place des Lices market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, and to restaurants including Vague d’Or and Colette. Port Grimaud and Sainte-Maxime are each within 15 minutes. The Golf de Gassin, one of the most scenic courses on the Côte d’Azur, is directly below the village.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is the primary hub, approximately 100 kilometres from Gassin, with a drive of around 90 minutes depending on summer traffic. Toulon-Hyères Airport is closer at roughly 60 kilometres and serves several European routes. The nearest TGV station is Les Arcs-Draguignan, about 40 kilometres away, with direct high-speed services to Paris in approximately four hours.
