Stately, Historic House In Fornalutx With Spectacular Views Of The Tramontana Mountains

Fornalutx is consistently ranked among the most beautiful villages in Spain, a designation it earns through its steep cobblestone lanes, honey-coloured stone houses with terracotta-tiled roofs, and a setting deep within the Serra de Tramuntana. Positioned above the Sóller Valley at roughly 170 metres elevation, the village has retained its medieval Moorish street pattern almost entirely intact. The market town of Sóller, approximately four kilometres away, offers a weekly market, the Mercat de Sóller, independent restaurants, and a broader range of shops. The historic tram connects Sóller to its port in around fifteen minutes.

Sóller is reached by car in under ten minutes. From Sóller, the scenic mountain tunnel road connects to Palma in approximately 30 minutes by car. Palma de Mallorca Airport is roughly 45 kilometres from Fornalutx, a drive of around 45 to 55 minutes depending on traffic. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities, with flight times of two to three hours to London, Paris, and Frankfurt.
