Against the intense rhythm of Ibiza, Ca Na Costa emerges in Formentera as a property designed to enjoy time, silence, and a direct connection with the Mediterranean landscape.

The property has a valid building license, offers 360º views of Formentera and Ibiza, provides direct access to the sea, and is situated on a large plot of 109,000 m² with direct connections to Estany Pudent and the Salinas.

An absolutely exceptional value of this property is that it contains the megalithic Tomb of Ca na Costa, one of the most important prehistoric monuments in the Balearic Islands and the most significant in Formentera. This tomb, of great heritage and symbolic value, had a ceremonial and spiritual function, linked to ancestor worship, making the place a unique enclave.

The estate is located in a protected natural environment where the sea, the dunes, and the salt flats define the character of the place, adding a value that is difficult to reproduce. Formentera maintains a contained scale thanks to regulations that limit urban growth and preserve its identity, making properties with direct beach access very unique opportunities.

The property is located on the northern coastal strip of the island and enjoys an exceptional landscape condition. To the east, a private path runs approximately 1.4 kilometers through virgin dunes within the plot itself until reaching Ses Canyes Beach, allowing daily contact with the sea and early morning swims. To the west, the estate visually opens to Estany Pudent, where historic salt flats and local fauna accompany the sunsets.

Formentera is the smallest and least developed of the four main Balearic Islands, and that scarcity is precisely what defines its value. Strict planning regulations have kept large-scale construction off the island for decades, preserving a landscape of salt flats, protected dunes, and clear shallow waters that larger islands lost long ago. The northern coastal strip, bordering Estany Pudent and the Parc Natural de Ses Salines, represents the most ecologically significant and legally protected part of the island.

Daily life on Formentera centres on Sant Francesc Xavier, the island’s small capital, for provisions and services. Es Pujols is the main tourist hub with restaurants and bars. Ses Illetes beach, consistently ranked among Europe’s finest, is on the northern peninsula. The island is compact enough that most points are reachable by bicycle or scooter within thirty minutes.

Formentera has no airport. Access is exclusively by ferry from Ibiza, with crossings taking between 25 and 40 minutes depending on the service, operated by Balearia and Trasmapi from multiple daily departures. Ibiza Airport, approximately 30 kilometres from the Formentera ferry terminal in Ibiza Town, connects to major European cities year-round and expands significantly in summer. Palma de Mallorca offers additional international connections roughly 150 kilometres away by sea.

Ibiza, the mystical and magical island of the Balearics is, without a doubt, a
unique place that will capture the visitor for its charming nature, sleepy
villages, stunning beaches and coves, and hippie markets as well as being ”the
place to be”, where the famous mingle unnoticed with the locals. We offer

World Heritage Site), the chic Cala Jondal and Es Cubells, the beautiful
southwest coast with its spectacular sunsets and the rugged north with its
cliffs. Come and meet our multilingual, dynamic team in our office in Marina
