Just 30 minutes from Warsaw Chopin Airport and the outskirts of the capital, Falęcin Manor stands among mature trees beside two ponds. The residence sits on 4.6 hectares of land that include part of a 19th-century park. Its expansive gardens offer a sense of calm so close to Warsaw.

The brick-built, Neoclassical manor was constructed in the first half of the 19th century, around 1827, to a design by Wilhelm Henryk Minter. Its traditional two-room-deep layout places the entrance hall and main staircase on the central axis, with the drawing room overlooking the garden. Staircases at either end lead to the attic. The façade is distinguished by a recessed portico supported by four pillars, a balcony above and a triangular pediment. The building has a hipped roof, a usable attic and a basement. It offers 452 m² of usable floor space and approximately 700 m² in total, including around 250 m² of basement space with a three-car garage.

Inside, the manor retains the character of a family residence. An entrance hall with an open staircase and gallery leads to a drawing room overlooking the garden. The ground floor also includes a study, library, two dining rooms and a kitchen. In the private wing, the principal bedroom has a spacious dressing room and bathroom. A smaller kitchen and a guest toilet complete this floor.

Upstairs are six bedrooms, each with its own dressing room and bathroom, arranged three to each wing. A second sitting room occupies the centre of the floor and is accessed from the galleried hall.

Falęcin’s history dates back to the 18th century, when the estate belonged to the Grzegorzewski family. After 1945, the manor served various purposes, and its interiors were divided into apartments. Following a change of ownership in 2010, it underwent extensive renovation and alterations under the supervision of the Provincial Heritage Conservator. By 2012, the manor had regained its former splendour.

Today, Falęcin Manor is a comfortable and carefully maintained family home, where life follows the changing seasons of the surrounding park. The grounds also include an orchard, a vegetable garden, two ponds and a cricket pitch. In the spacious basement, preserved and treated original brickwork recalls the estate’s long history and gives the rooms a distinctive character.

Falęcin Manor now awaits an owner to write its next chapter. It could continue as the private family home it is today or become the setting for a boutique hospitality venture.
