Villa Estepona East

Estepona occupies a distinct position on the Costa del Sol, sitting between the more intensely developed Marbella to the east and the quieter stretches of coastline toward Gibraltar to the west. It has retained a working Andalusian character that much of the coast has lost, with a well-preserved old town of whitewashed streets, flower-lined plazas, and a functioning fishing port alongside its marina. The surrounding area, including the El Paraiso enclave, is defined by low-density villa development set against the Sierra Bermeja foothills.

Daily life in Estepona centres on the old town, the Mercado de Abastos on Calle Castillo, and the beachfront Paseo Maritimo. El Paraiso Golf Club is the social anchor of the immediate residential area. Restaurants including La Casa del Rey and Restaurante El Paraiso are within a short drive, and Puerto Banus is approximately fifteen minutes east.

Malaga Airport is the primary international gateway, located approximately 80 kilometres east of Estepona, with a drive time of around 55 to 65 minutes via the AP-7 toll motorway. Gibraltar Airport lies roughly 50 kilometres to the west, offering an alternative for European connections. Marbella is 25 minutes by car, and Malaga city centre is accessible in under an hour, with high-speed AVE rail connections from Malaga to Madrid in under two and a half hours.
