Estepona Pueblo is the historic core of Estepona, a town on the western Costa del Sol that has invested heavily in preserving and restoring its Andalusian old quarter. The streets are narrow, whitewashed, and lined with flower-filled balconies, and the central Plaza de las Flores anchors daily life with its cafés and market stalls. The seafront promenade, Paseo Marítimo, runs for several kilometres and connects the old town directly to the beach.
The covered Mercado de Abastos on Calle Castillo serves fresh produce daily. Restaurants along Calle Terraza and the port area include El Pescador and La Escollera for seafood. The beach is a five-minute walk from the old town centre. Marbella is 30 kilometres east, reachable in under 30 minutes by car.
Estepona sits on the A-7 coastal highway and the AP-7 toll motorway, giving direct road access to Marbella in around 25 minutes and Málaga city in approximately one hour. Gibraltar Airport is roughly 45 kilometres west, around 40 minutes by car, and handles routes to the UK and beyond. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, the main international hub for the region, is approximately 85 kilometres east, around 55 minutes by motorway, with connections to most major European cities.
