La Savina, Formentera’s ferry port, is roughly 15 kilometres from El Pilar and connects to Ibiza in around 30 to 40 minutes by fast ferry. Ibiza Airport is the primary international gateway, with direct routes to major European cities. The crossing from La Savina to Ibiza Town takes under an hour by regular ferry, placing the island’s full transport infrastructure within practical reach for residents based on the La Mola plateau.
